'Family' was designed because I spotted something in France that gave me a spark of an idea and then someting I saw in Spain made me sit up and take notice.  Each individual part is cut from the rescued hardwood, shaped separately and then the whole figure is assembled into one (twins can be delivered!).   The base block has a baize bottom to protect the surface upon which it will sit.    
This is just the thing for a couple who are in the process of expanding their family, and excellent for Valentine's Day as well.  Not just a card, this can be kept for decades.
This particularly light hardwood beech blockboard was originally a worktop from a kitchen that has a panoramic view of Westminster, London, the Father of Parliaments, but there may occasionally be a darker hardwood used.  To choose, please either ring me (daytime hours please) or come to the workshop to select your favourite.
If you would prefer to collect from my Suffolk workshop (CO100DJ), the price will be reduced by £4, and you can make your own choice when seeing them in the flesh...er...wood.
